Who we are
A local team, not a national franchise
Seyward Bros Dumpster Rental Polk County runs roll-off dumpster rental for homeowners, contractors and businesses across Polk County — straight, flat-rate pricing and a container delivered by the same company you talked to on the phone. When you call (863) 457-3737, you're booking directly with the company that stands behind your delivery — our truck, our team, our yard, start to finish. There's no outside crew or subcontracted driver in someone else's paint, and no third-party referral network standing between you and the people running the truck.
Our dedicated route stays focused on Lakeland and the five communities around it that make up Polk County's core — Winter Haven, Bartow, Haines City, Auburndale and Lake Wales. It's the same ground our drivers cover every week, which is exactly why we can tell you plainly what a delivery to your street actually involves instead of reading it off a script.

How we run
A small team, not a call center
Every call to (863) 457-3737 rings a real desk connected to our 515 Mabel Ave yard, not a national dispatch queue reading off a script. It's a small team on purpose — people who know a Munn Park address or a Winter Haven street when they hear it described, can size a container over the phone without guessing, and are still there the next time you call. We'd rather stay small and know the ground we cover than grow past the point of actually knowing it.
The team
The people behind every delivery

Gregory Ashworth

Patrick Ellison

Runs day-to-day operations for the crew — the person making sure every load is sorted right and every driver on the road is trained and accountable.

Marcus Delgado

Anthony Reyes
Driver & Crew
Keeps deliveries and swap-outs moving across Lakeland and the surrounding cities, rain or shine.

Vanessa Whitcombe

Keeps the crew staffed, trained and accounted for — the person behind the scenes making sure the right people show up for the right job.

Diane Castellano
Office Manager
Runs the office side of the operation — scheduling, paperwork and the small details that keep every delivery on time.

Teresa Malone
Office Clerk
Handles the day-to-day office work that keeps orders, invoices and schedules moving without a hitch.

Julia Bennett
Front Office & Secretary
The first call back after you place an order — coordinates scheduling and swap-outs so nothing about your rental catches you off guard.

Doing right by Polk County
We route clean concrete, metal and other recoverable material toward recovery wherever a job allows, work loads through North Central Landfill in Winter Haven the way every hauler in Polk County does, and keep an eye out for the small habits — a level load, a clean curb, a driveway left the way we found it — that add up across a full week of deliveries.
Straight from the office
How scheduling actually works
What we stand on
Things we will not trade away
Local, not a call center
You reach a real Lakeland team, not a national dispatch queue. The person who answers knows which Polk County streets a loaded roll-off can actually turn onto and which local rules apply that day.
Flat-rate pricing, no surprises
Delivery, the rental period, pickup and disposal rolled into one flat-rate price based on the size you book, the debris type and how long you keep it. If something would push you over, we tell you before the truck ever leaves the yard.
Same-day when you need it
Call early and most Lakeland and Polk County orders go out the same or next day. Live jobsite swap-outs get priority over everything else on the schedule.
Run by Gregory Ashworth
Founder & CEO Gregory Ashworth and the Seyward Bros Dumpster Rental Polk County team coordinate every delivery out of our 515 Mabel Ave yard — not a national dispatch desk. We know which Polk County roads a loaded roll-off can actually reach.
The right box, not the biggest
Weight fills a container long before volume does. We will talk you into the smaller can if that is the honest answer for your job.
Loads sorted the right way
Metals, masonry, unpainted wood, drywall, carpet and clean concrete all get routed for recovery instead of buried wherever's easiest — we will tell you what has to come out of the box before it ever reaches the scale.

Where we work
Lakeland, the Swan City of Polk County
Lakeland was incorporated on January 1, 1885, founded by Abraham Munn, whose name is still carried by the Munn Park Historic District at the center of downtown — roughly 650 acres and 48 contributing buildings, listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1997. Lakeland is nicknamed the "Swan City" for a genuinely charming piece of local history: a pair of mute swans, a gift from Queen Elizabeth II, arrived in 1957 and founded the flock that still lives on Lake Morton today, celebrated each year at the city's own Swan Roundup. Just south of downtown, Florida Southern College's "Child of the Sun" campus holds the largest single-site collection of Frank Lloyd Wright-designed buildings anywhere in the world. Publix is headquartered in Lakeland today, though the company's very first store opened in Winter Haven back in 1930 — two different, real chapters of the same story. And every spring since 1934, the Detroit Tigers have run spring training out of Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium.
Lakeland is Polk County's largest city, home to an estimated 120,000 to 125,000 residents depending on the source and year cited — but it is worth saying plainly that Bartow, not Lakeland, is the Polk County seat. Polk County itself was formed in 1861 and sits within "the Ridge," Florida's historic citrus belt, and remains one of the state's leading citrus-producing counties. It's also long been the historic center of Florida's phosphate industry, a region still known locally as "Bone Valley." That mix of a growing city, a historic downtown and a working agricultural county is exactly the range of jobs our crew covers every week.

Meet the work
What a normal week looks like
Monday might open with a whole-home cleanout near Munn Park — the kind of job covered in our Munn Park renovation guide — then a rental turnover near Florida Southern College once a semester wraps, the sort of steady seasonal work covered in our Florida Southern student-housing guide. Tuesday could be a roofing tear-off anywhere from Lakeland to Haines City, sized honestly in our roofing dumpster sizing guide.
Renovation work in Bartow's historic courthouse district and waterfront cleanouts along Winter Haven's Chain of Lakes keep our residential and construction crews busy through most weeks, and a citrus-grove or Bone Valley land-clearing job out toward "the Ridge" means loading heavy debris the right way, sized correctly the first time — covered plainly in our citrus-grove cleanout guide.
When hurricane season or a summer storm rolls through Polk County, homeowners clearing storm debris off their own property are a call we plan for every year — covered honestly, with real, dated local storm history rather than guesswork, in our hurricane season prep guide.
Common questions
About Seyward Bros Dumpster Rental Polk County
Who runs Seyward Bros Dumpster Rental Polk County?
Gregory Ashworth, our founder & ceo, leads the company out of our 515 Mabel Ave yard in Lakeland, alongside a small team that books, schedules, drives and follows up on every job across Polk County. There's no national call center between you and the people running your delivery — you're talking to the company itself.
Is it really your own truck and your own crew on every job?
Yes. Seyward Bros Dumpster Rental Polk County runs your rental directly — our truck, our team, our yard, start to finish. We don't pass your job off to another company or a stranger driving a truck in someone else's paint. The person who answers the phone at (863) 457-3737 is the same company that shows up with the container.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — licensed to operate in Florida and carrying general liability and commercial auto coverage. Contractors and property managers who need documentation on file before we come on site can ask when they call.
What areas do you cover?
Lakeland and out to Winter Haven, Bartow, Haines City, Auburndale and Lake Wales — that's the client's own real six-city route, and it's the regular run out of our 515 Mabel Ave yard. If your address sits just outside that list, call anyway — we cover a lot of ground across Polk County.
Do you know Lakeland's and Polk County's permit rules?
We work inside them every week. Lakeland's own Non-Utility Right-of-Way Permit governs a street- or curb-placed container, including a rule that lets the city require a street-placed roll-off removed on just 24 hours' notice — and every other city on our route runs a version of that same right-of-way process through its own Public Works department. We'll tell you plainly which situation your address falls into rather than guess. See our permit guide below for the full picture.
Do I need a permit for my dumpster?
In most cases, no — a container that sits entirely on your own driveway or property generally does not trigger a right-of-way permit. A street or curb placement is a different matter, and the rule (and the department that handles it) changes city to city across Polk County — see our permit guide below, or just ask when you call and we'll tell you plainly what applies to your address.
My street is narrow, or I'm not sure a container will fit. Can you still deliver?
Almost always, yes. The tight, historic blocks around Lakeland's Munn Park Historic District are something we size and place around regularly, and the same goes for older downtown streets in Bartow, Winter Haven and Lake Wales. Curb-lane placement, a different driveway angle, or a smaller container set differently are all normal answers. Describe the spot when you call — a two-minute conversation up front beats a failed delivery on the day.
Do you work with contractors and property managers on ongoing accounts?
We do, and a good share of our week is repeat trade with builders, remodeling contractors and property managers running more than one site across Polk County. Lakeland's ongoing growth — new construction, office buildouts and renovation work alike — keeps our commercial and construction schedule busy right along with our residential jobs. Accounts get priority scheduling on swap-outs, consistent handling across every site, and one line to call instead of a different vendor for every job.
Roughly what does a dumpster rental cost in Lakeland?
We run flat-rate pricing — one number covering delivery, the rental period, pickup and disposal, based on the container size you book, the type of debris and how long you keep it. There's no published price list because job specifics genuinely change the number — call and we'll give you a straight, specific quote for your job, free, before anything is scheduled.
