Coverage
Communities we deliver to
We run dumpsters out of our 515 Mabel Ave yard across every corner of Lakeland and out into Polk County and Central Florida / the I-4 corridor. If your community is not on this list, call us anyway. We probably still get there.
Before you call
Have these four things ready
- 1
The delivery address
Street address, and if access is tight — a narrow driveway, an alley, a shared lot — mention it. The older blocks around Lakeland's Munn Park Historic District, and the historic downtown streets of Bartow and Lake Wales, can run tighter than a typical suburban street; we plan around it either way.
- 2
What is going in it
Household contents, roofing, mixed construction debris, furniture, yard waste — and flag anything hazardous, like chemicals, fuels, batteries, paint or refrigerants, so we can guide you on safe disposal instead of loading it in with everything else.
- 3
Where it should sit
Driveway, curb lane or jobsite. In most cases, placement entirely on your own property needs no permit; a street or curb placement is a different matter — tell us when you book and we'll walk you through it.
- 4
When you need it
Same day, tomorrow morning, or a set date — and roughly how long you want to keep it. Extensions are easy to arrange, but planning ahead is best.
Permits
Property vs. public right-of-way
On your own property
A dumpster that sits entirely on your own driveway, yard or lot is the setup for the large majority of jobs we deliver across Lakeland and Polk County — that kind of placement generally falls outside the right-of-way rules that a street or curb placement triggers. If you are not sure where your property line falls or how your street is treated, ask us when you book and we will tell you plainly before the truck ever leaves the yard.
On the street or right-of-way
Placement in a public street, on a sidewalk or anywhere else in the right-of-way is where a permit becomes relevant. Inside Lakeland city limits, that means the City of Lakeland's own Non-Utility Right-of-Way Permit — a revocable license for the placement, administered by the Engineering Division of Public Works. Two provisions are worth knowing up front: the city requires Sunshine 811 to be contacted at least two full business days before any right-of-way work, and the city reserves the right to require a street-placed roll-off container removed on just 24 hours' notice. Every other city we serve — Winter Haven, Bartow, Haines City and Lake Wales — administers its own version of the same right-of-way permit through its own Public Works department; if your job sits in Auburndale, its own right-of-way process was not something we could confirm directly, so we tell Auburndale customers plainly to check with Auburndale City Hall before a street placement rather than guess. Tell us your street situation when you book and we'll help you sort out what's needed, not the morning of.
Answers
Contact questions
What information do you need when I call?
Four things, and the call takes about two minutes: the delivery address, roughly what you're throwing away, where you want the container to sit, and when you need it. If you're unsure about the size, describe the pile and we will size it. A photo of the driveway or curb helps if the placement is tight.
Do you serve my community?
We cover Lakeland and out to Winter Haven, Bartow, Haines City, Auburndale and Lake Wales — 5 communities in all beyond Lakeland proper, spanning Polk County. Just outside that? Call anyway — we can usually make it work.
What are your hours?
Mon–Sat 7:00am – 7:00pm. Deliveries and collections run through the working day. Ring outside that window and leave your address on a message — we'll call back first thing.
Can I email instead of calling?
You can email info@dumpsterrentalpolkcounty.com and we'll reply, but the phone is far quicker for anything time-sensitive. Sizing a container is a conversation — two questions on a call usually settles what an email thread will not. For same-day delivery, always ring.
Is there a charge for a quote?
No. Quotes are free and given over the phone, not an estimate that moves later. We run flat-rate pricing based on the container size, the debris type and how long you keep it — tell us the job and we'll tell you exactly where yours falls, and when a smaller container does the job, before anything is booked.
Do I need a permit for my address?
Depends where the container sits. In most cases, a container entirely on your own driveway, yard or lot needs no permit. A public street or curb placement is a different matter, and the specific process changes from city to city across our route — mention it when you call and we'll walk you through what your job needs.
