When Lakeland residents and businesses need a reliable dumpster rental partner, they call Seyward Bros Dumpster Rental Polk County — homeowners clearing out a garage near Munn Park, contractors on a jobsite in Winter Haven or Bartow, and property managers everywhere in between across Polk County. Our own trucks, our own crew, flat-rate pricing based on the size you need, the debris type and how long you keep the container — no hidden fees, no guesswork. Most orders called in early go out the same day.

Why Lakeland calls Seyward Bros Dumpster Rental Polk County
Seyward Bros Dumpster Rental Polk County was built on a simple idea: make dumpster rental straightforward and honest for homeowners, contractors and businesses across Polk County. When you dial (863) 457-3737 you reach a real local team working out of our own 515 Mabel Ave yard in Lakeland — not a national booking site forwarding your call to whoever picks up first. Every job runs on our own truck, our own driver and our own yard, from a driveway near the Munn Park Historic District to a jobsite out past Winter Haven or Bartow.
That local footprint is most of the job. Knowing which Lakeland streets a loaded roll-off can turn onto and which cannot handle one at all. Knowing that a re-roof after a Florida storm season will hit its tonnage allowance long before the box looks full. Knowing the difference between a clean yard-waste load and one tangled up with construction debris. Our goal is simple: make waste removal easier and more responsible for everyone across Lakeland and Polk County, from a garage cleanout near Lake Mirror to a commercial strip-out in downtown Lakeland.

You reach a real Lakeland team, not a national dispatch queue. The person who answers knows which Polk County streets a loaded roll-off can actually turn onto and which local rules apply that day.
Delivery, the rental period, pickup and disposal rolled into one flat-rate price based on the size you book, the debris type and how long you keep it. If something would push you over, we tell you before the truck ever leaves the yard.
Call early and most Lakeland and Polk County orders go out the same or next day. Live jobsite swap-outs get priority over everything else on the schedule.
Founder & CEO Gregory Ashworth and the Seyward Bros Dumpster Rental Polk County team coordinate every delivery out of our 515 Mabel Ave yard — not a national dispatch desk. We know which Polk County roads a loaded roll-off can actually reach.
Weight fills a container long before volume does. We will talk you into the smaller can if that is the honest answer for your job.
Metals, masonry, unpainted wood, drywall, carpet and clean concrete all get routed for recovery instead of buried wherever's easiest — we will tell you what has to come out of the box before it ever reaches the scale.

Know before you load
A short list is a hard no in every container we set. Hazardous materials — chemicals, fuels, batteries, paint and refrigerants — never go in a Seyward Bros Dumpster Rental Polk County roll-off, no exceptions. Ask us when you call and we'll point you toward the right disposal option instead.
Clean debris gets sorted for recovery, not buried whole. Metals, masonry, unpainted wood, drywall and clean concrete are all things we would rather see routed for recovery than dumped straight into a landfill cell. Loads move through North Central Landfill in Winter Haven and the rest of the Polk County Solid Waste Division's facilities — responsible disposal isn't an upsell here, it's how every job runs.
Placement on a public street or right-of-way is its own question. A dumpster that stays entirely on your own driveway or lot generally doesn't need anything special worked out in advance. A container set in the street in Lakeland itself runs through the City of Lakeland's own Non-Utility Right-of-Way Permit process, which includes a rule that the city can require a street-placed container removed with 24 hours' notice. Winter Haven, Bartow, Haines City and Lake Wales each administer their own right-of-way permits too, while we'd recommend confirming current requirements directly with Auburndale city hall before placing anything off your own property there. And if any part of the job involves digging, call 811 (Sunshine 811, Florida's official one-call service) at least two business days ahead — ask us when you call and we'll tell you what we know.
How it works
No forms, no portal logins, no waiting on a quote email. Five steps, and the first is a conversation with somebody who's actually loaded a container.

Tell us the address, roughly what's going in, where you want it and when. That's the entire process on your side. We handle sizing, scheduling, protection, hauling and disposal — for one flat-rate price based on the size you need, the debris type and how long you keep it.
If you're not sure what size you need, don't guess — describe the pile. Sizing containers is what we do all day, and we'd rather talk you into the cheaper box than sell you space you'll never fill. Placing it on the street instead of your driveway? Ask us, and we'll tell you what to confirm with the city or county before we deliver.
Call (863) 457-3737One short conversation. We ask what you are clearing, where the box needs to sit and when you need it. No forms, no waiting on an email.
You get one flat-rate number covering delivery, the rental period, pickup and disposal — depending on the size you need, the debris type and how long you keep it. If a smaller box does the job we will say so.
The driver walks the spot with you, lays protection under the rails and sets the container square in the driveway, curb lane or job site.
Keep it level with the top rail and keep the banned items out. Need a swap mid-job or an early pickup? One call and we are on it.
Clean concrete, metal and yard waste get routed for recovery rather than buried wherever we can. You get your driveway or curb back the way you left it.

The thing nobody tells you
Most people ordering their first dumpster assume the biggest container is the least risky option. With light, bulky material — furniture, boxes, insulation, cabinetry — that's true. With anything dense it's the opposite.
A 30 or 40 yard box loaded with roofing shingles off a tile or asphalt re-roof, or with plaster and tile torn out of an older Lakeland home, will blow past its tonnage allowance while it still looks half empty, and the overage gets charged separately. A 10 or 20 yard with a matched allowance — see our size chart above for the real bag-capacity numbers on each size — often does exactly the same job for less.
Ask us and you'll get the honest answer, even when the honest answer is the smaller box.

Lakeland & Polk County specifics
Lakeland is Polk County's largest city and its best-known one — but Bartow, not Lakeland, has been the county seat since the first courthouse went up there back in 1867, and it still is today. Lakeland earned its own nickname, "Swan City," after a 1957 gift of mute swans from Queen Elizabeth II following the die-off of the town's original flock; their descendants still glide across Lake Morton, and the city holds an annual Swan Roundup to check on them. A few miles away, Florida Southern College's "Child of the Sun" campus holds the largest single-site collection of Frank Lloyd Wright-designed buildings anywhere in the world, and the Munn Park Historic District anchors a downtown that has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1997. Publix's corporate headquarters sits in Lakeland today, though the company's very first store opened in Winter Haven back in 1930 — a distinction Winter Haven locals are quick to point out. The Detroit Tigers have run spring training out of Joker Marchant Stadium since 1934.
Out from our 515 Mabel Ave yard, we regularly run to Winter Haven, Bartow, Haines City, Auburndale and Lake Wales — the six communities that make up Polk County's core. Polk sits within "The Ridge," Florida's historic citrus belt, and remains the state's top citrus-producing county to this day; it also carries a long history as the center of the phosphate industry, in the region still known as Bone Valley. Polk County's population now runs well past three-quarters of a million residents by recent estimates, and the county has repeatedly been named among the fastest-growing in the country — which means renovation debris, new-construction waste and storm cleanup all keep this yard busy. Being fully inland, our hurricane risk runs to wind and heavy rain rather than storm surge — both Hurricane Milton (2024) and Hurricane Ian (2022) brought real, documented wind and flooding impact to Lakeland and Polk County. Central Florida's limestone geology, the same geology behind many of Lakeland's own lakes, also makes this county a well-documented sinkhole hotspot in its own right, even outside the officially branded "Sinkhole Alley" corridor further west. Wherever the job sits across Polk County, the container shows up sized right and the driveway comes back clean.
Service area
We run dumpsters out of our 515 Mabel Ave yard across every corner of Lakeland and out into Polk County and Central Florida / the I-4 corridor. If your community is not on this list, call us anyway. We probably still get there.

Called on a Monday morning and had a 20 yard sitting in the driveway by early afternoon. Boards down, spot leveled, and the driveway looked exactly the same when they picked it up a week later.
We build all over Winter Haven and this is the only hauler that has never left us sitting on a full box. When they say Tuesday, it is Tuesday.
Cleared out my mother's house over a few weeks and they were patient the whole way through. One call and a 20 yard showed up the next morning — took the stress out of an already stressful job.
Renovating a house near Munn Park and they worked around a tight historic-district street without any hassle — showed up when they said they would and left the curb exactly as they found it.

FAQs
The questions we field most often from Lakeland homeowners and contractors. More on the full FAQ page.
Most kitchen and bathroom remodels fit well in a 15 or 20 yard dumpster — enough room for cabinetry, fixtures and flooring debris without paying for space you won't fill. Larger renovation projects or full home cleanouts, the kind we see often around Lakeland's older Munn Park-area homes or a whole-house gut job in Bartow or Winter Haven, usually call for a 30 yard. Describe the rooms you're clearing when you call and we'll point you at the size that actually fits — even when that means talking you into the smaller box.
Pricing depends on the dumpster size, the type of debris and how long you keep the container — we offer flat-rate pricing with delivery, the rental period, pickup and disposal all rolled into that one number, no hidden fees added after the fact. Call with a short description of what you're clearing and you'll get a straight answer on where your job falls.
Hazardous materials such as chemicals, fuels, batteries, paint and refrigerants are not permitted in any container we set — no exceptions. If you're not sure whether something on your pile counts, ask before you load it and we'll point you to the right disposal option instead.
Yes — Seyward Bros Dumpster Rental Polk County runs out of our 515 Mabel Ave yard and delivers across Lakeland, Winter Haven, Bartow, Haines City, Auburndale and Lake Wales. If your address falls somewhere else in Polk County, call anyway — we can usually still get there.
Most orders called in early go out the same day, from our 515 Mabel Ave yard out to Winter Haven, Bartow and every corner of Polk County. Later calls usually land first thing the next morning. We run Mon–Sat 7:00am – 7:00pm. Live jobsite swap-outs get priority because a full container stops a crew working.
Loads route to North Central Landfill in Winter Haven and other Polk County Solid Waste Division facilities serving the county. Metals, masonry, unpainted wood, drywall and clean concrete get sorted for recovery rather than buried whole wherever it's easiest — responsible disposal isn't an upsell here, it's how every job runs.
