Learn more20 yard roll-off
The workhorse — real capacity for a full remodel or a roofing tear-off, and the size most Polk County homeowners and property owners land on.

Specifications
22 ft long × 7.5 ft wide × 4.5 ft high
20 cubic yards — holds about 110–130 bags
3–4 tons included in the flat rate
About 25 ft long × 10 ft wide, plus door swing
Flat-rate pricing across the lineup is based on the size you choose, the type of debris and how long you keep the container — delivery, pickup and disposal are all rolled into that one number, no hidden fees. Debris needs to stay below the container's top rail on every size so our driver can haul it safely, and that holds whether it lands on your driveway or, on the rare job that needs the street instead, wherever the local right-of-way rules allow.
Is this the one?
If we could keep only one container size, this would be it. At 22 ft long × 7.5 ft wide × 4.5 ft high it carries a 3–4 ton allowance and holds roughly 110 to 130 bags — enough for a genuine mixed remodel or a full roof tear-off, while still fitting a normal single-family driveway across Lakeland and the rest of Polk County. Polk County has real, recent storm history worth planning around: Hurricane Milton brought confirmed high winds, heavy rain and localized flooding to Lakeland in October 2024, and the City suspended solid-waste collection for two days to prioritize clearing storm debris from the roads — exactly the kind of cleanup a 20 yard's weight allowance is built to handle. (Milton also spawned a wider tornado outbreak documented in several other Florida counties; confirmed tornado touchdowns specific to Polk County weren't part of the record we found, so we don't claim that here — the wind and flooding impact on Lakeland itself is the well-documented part.)
It's also the right call on plenty of jobs people first think need a 30. General remodel debris — drywall, siding, flooring, cabinets — will usually fill a 20's weight allowance before it fills a 30's volume, and that matters given the pace of building activity around Lakeland right now, from downtown's technology-campus investment to the broader wave of renovation and construction across Polk County. Concrete, dirt, brick and heavier masonry are better routed to a 10 for that portion of the job — mixing dense material into a full 20 yard load is the fastest way to run over the included weight, and everything still needs to stay below the top rail. Any digging or post-setting adjacent to a construction job — not the dumpster placement itself, but nearby excavation work — needs a Sunshine 811 utility locate called in at least two full business days ahead, same as anywhere else in Florida.
Straight advice: The one to default to when you're genuinely unsure. It's rarely the wrong answer for a remodel or a roof — just route concrete, dirt, brick and block to a 10 instead, and keep everything below the top rail.

Same flat-rate pricing model across all five. The real question is which weight allowance and bag capacity matches your material — dense debris, roofing, a remodel or a construction phase.

A genuine mixed remodel (drywall, flooring, siding, cabinets), a full roofing tear-off, or medium construction debris. It holds roughly 110 to 130 bags of material and a 3–4 ton weight allowance — the size most Polk County jobs land on when the project is bigger than a single room but not a full gut renovation.
Often, yes. Hurricane Milton brought confirmed high winds, heavy rain and localized flooding to Lakeland in October 2024, and a full re-roof or a heavy load of storm-related debris is exactly the kind of job the 20 yard's weight allowance is built to handle. We don't claim confirmed tornado damage in Polk County specifically from that storm — the wind and flooding impact is the well-documented part, and it's plenty to plan a debris haul around.
If the job involves any excavation or post-setting near the dumpster — not just placing the container itself — Florida law requires calling Sunshine 811 at least two full business days ahead so utility lines can be marked. It's a quick call and it's free.
